Qualifications
Outstanding Customer Service experience (both external and internal customers)
Knowledge of residential European/luxury furnishing/cabinetry
Knowledge of interior design/architecture
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Responsibilities
The design associate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Los Angeles showroom
Including the building client relationships, assisting designers/clients in showroom for furniture selections, preparing quotations, customer service
Maximize sales growth and profitability by demonstrating a wholehearted customer service attitude with a positive, knowledgeable and consultative approach
Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and exhibit our merchandise’s qualities, features and benefits
Interact with design community and retail clientele to assist with the selection of furniture; prepare proposals; cost estimates; specifications and other sale documentation
Cultivate new business with Los Angeles design and architecture firms
Build positive relationships with our clients providing quality customer service and
Enthusiastic and effective communication as you move them through the sales process
Able to see multiple tasks through to completion
Able to shift tasks and priorities quickly
Employee will be expected to work Monday through Saturday in our showroom
Employee will need to be able to work with a variety of personality types, including customers, interior designers, and internal staff
