Studio Fitz is looking for a skilled Interior Designer to join our growing firm. This person should have at least two years of experience with a high end residential design firm and strong proven skills in Project Management, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Studio Designer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and manage project documents such as AutoCAD drawings, InDesign presentations and Photoshop illustrations
- Communicate project status and needs with vendors, fabricators, architects and contractors
- Research and source materials, obtain quotes, estimates, and coordinate installations
- Track all orders, proposals, invoices, vendor payments and client payments through Studio Designer
- Create project budgets and scopes
- Manage onsite installations
- Create design schemes with furniture and fabric selections
- Organize & update current material library
- Assist Principal on projects and administrative tasks to carry out projects
Candidates should have a working knowledge of interior design industry terms, sources, and procedures, and be comfortable with a wide range of office tasks and technology. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to create furniture plans and elevations.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, arts, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and resourceful with a strong sense of accountability
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Studio Designer required
