Lucy Bamman, formerly the Market Editor for ELLE Decor, House Beautiful, Veranda, is now the New York editor for Milieu magazine. She will remain a Veranda contributor.
Meredith appointed Catherine Levene as president and chief digital officer of its National Media Group. Prior to Meredith, Levene held executive roles at The New York Times and Rent the Runway. She succeeds Stan Pavlovsky.
Christina Robitaille is now associate communications director at UpSpring PR, working with clients in architecture, design and real estate.
Brooke Flores has been promoted to account manager of home and design at PR firm HL Group. She was previously account coordinator.
Guy Tunnicliffe became account executive and luxury media specialist at New York–based PR firm Stacy McLaughlin Communications.
MANUFACTURING & RETAIL
Russell Towner has joined American Leather Holdings as vice president of strategic sales of the Dallas–based holding company for American Leather, Lee Industries and Brookline Furniture. He was most recently president and CEO of Baker furniture. “I’ve worked with great brands: Henredon, Ralph Lauren, Baker,” Towner told BOH. “When I looked at the next position, the thing that was important to me was to be associated with a company that had a strong sense of who they were, yet also recognized that there were untapped markets and opportunities.”
Christofle named Bentley Frost Hardwick as president and CEO of Christofle Americas. Hardwick hails from Calvin Klein Home, where she worked for 20 years.
Currey & Company named Pamela Bailey as its director of showrooms. Bailey, formerly of Crate & Barrel, will oversee the luxury lighting brand’s showroom operations.
Munder-Skiles appointed Adele Abide as creative director. In her new role, Abide will oversee marketing initiatives, showrooms and product development. Previously she was at Janus et Cie and has consulted for Amalfi Living and Walters Wicker.
Julia Chappell is now the business development leader at than Allen. She has held previous positions as director of marketing for Washington Design Center and director of PR for Gensler.
Melissa Stowell and Eli Drebin are new additions to the THG Paris team. The French luxury bath and kitchen fittings company hired Stowell as manager of AD development and Drebin as project sales manager. They are based in the D&D Building in New York.
Direct-to-consumer kitchen supplies brand Material named Alison Roman as strategic brand advisor. Known for her viral recipes and books, Roman will consult for Material’s co-founders on product development and more.
Parterre Flooring appointed Rob Jones as the Alabama and Tennessee territories representative. Before Parterre, which is headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, Jones worked at Centiva, a vinyl tile brand based in Dalton, Georgia. In addition to flooring, he makes his own beer.
James Nauyok is now creative director at North Carolina–based furniture manufacturer Jonathan Charles, overseeing merchandising in its High Point showroom as well as visual retail strategy in the U.S.
The National Kitchen + Bath Association promoted Pamela Ryerson and Nicole Krueger to director positions. Ryerson now serves as director of marketplace, and Krueger is director of finance and administration for the nonprofit.
Laurie Acree was appointed design director at Rocky Mount, North Carolina–based furniture company Wildwood.
U.S. luxury furniture brand Caracole appointed Michelle Rosson as vice president of sales. She will oversee U.S. brand ambassadors and lead the multi-channel strategy for Caracole boutiques, accounts and e-commerce.
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
Washington, D.C.-based firm KGD Architecture named Victoria Kleyzor as director of marketing. She will manage marketing, communications and business development.
New York firm TPG Architecture promoted two creative directors, Jennifer Haney and Lisa Lombardy.
