2024 has arrived, and with it comes a slew of design events. From Modernism Week in Palm Springs to the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach, read on for BOH’s list of industry gatherings and shows happening next month.

Las Vegas Market
Las Vegas | January 28–February 1
AndMore’s annual Las Vegas Market features thousands of brands across the furniture, home decor and gift categories. Housed in the four-building World Market Center campus, the market boasts both permanent and temporary exhibitors, as well as an inaugural group of (A) List influencers—Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Marissa Nelums and Nina Takesh—who will present a curated collection of on-trend pieces for guests to peruse. Shoppe Object
New York | February 4–6
Shoppe Object is back at Manhattan’s Pier 36, and it has expanded to a neighboring location, Skylight at Essex Crossing, to accommodate the show’s growth. Among the hundreds of home and gift brands exhibiting, looking for makers like Dublin’s Jennifer Slattery Textiles, Ojai, California, studio Ritual Ceramics, and Westport, Connecticut-based furniture company Heller, which marks its Shoppe Object debut. NY Now
New York | February 4–7
NY Now returns to the Javits Center with plans to welcome more than 1,000 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees. From gift and lifestyle to jewelry and home, brands such as Vivee Home and Laila Textiles will display new and existing products. The show also features tours, experiences, and events, including a seminar for social media success with Crystal Vilkaitis, owner of retail digital marketing company Crystal Media, and a panel on sustainability in retail with Jan Lo of sustainable travel brand Lo & Sons, Adam Thatcher of cultural and humanitarian center Grace Farms, and Jules Timms of sustainable jewelry company Gather Brooklyn. Stockholm Furniture Fair
Stockholm | February 6-10
The annual Stockholm Furniture Fair is the leading event for Scandinavian design, and over 80 percent of exhibitors are from the region. The show—which started as a local furniture fair in 1951—has since grown to include more than 200 exhibitors, as well as seminars, workshops, and talks about sustainability and inclusivity. This year’s guest of honor is Formafantasma, an Italian design studio with an eco-conscious and research-driven approach, whose team will design an installation for the entrance to the fair. Dialogues on Design with Elizabeth Graziolo
New York | February 8
Elizabeth Graziolo of New York–based firm Yellow House Architects joins The Business of Home Podcast host Dennis Scully for the New York School of Interior Design’s fourth Dialogues on Design conversation of the 2023–2024 season. Graziolo, who was born in Haiti, immigrated to the U.S. when she was 13 and went on to study architecture at The Cooper Union before kicking off her career at major firms including Peter Pennoyer Architects. Fast-forward to the present and she now leads a team of 25 and was named to Architectural Digest’s 2024 AD100 list. In conversation with Scully, the architect will discuss her unique approach to design and how her firm prioritizes collaboration and diversity. For more information, click here.

The Nashville Show
Nashville | February 15–17
The Fairgrounds Nashville hosts Jenkins & Co.’s 35th annual antiques, art and vintage show with more than 150 makers and dealers. Customers, dealers and decorators from across the world come to the event to peruse American and continental furniture, folk art, fine art, linens, quilts and holiday memorabilia. Modernism Week
Palm Springs | February 15–25
Celebrating midcentury architecture and design, this 11-day festival gives the more than 120,000 attendees an opportunity to interact with 350 events. Now in its 19th year, it will feature a double-decker architectural bus tour, the signature Modernism show, and home tours in more than 30 neighborhoods, as well as film screenings, live music, fashion shows, and lectures that encourage architectural preservation and sustainable living. Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach
West Palm Beach | February 23–March 17
Benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County and Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, the Decorator Show House returns to the Sunshine State for its sixth year, this time at an 8,600-square-foot home in the SoSo neighborhood of West Palm Beach. The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath house will feature rooms by 23 designers, including Donna Mondi, DuVäl Reynolds, Helen Bergin and Nadia Watts. For more information, click here.

Kitchen & Bath Industry Show
Las Vegas | February 27–29
Set in the Las Vegas Convention Center, KBIS is the largest trade show in North America dedicated to kitchen and bath design. Attendees will have access to displays of the latest products, trends and technologies from more than 600 exhibitors. The annual event also features the Voices From the Industry Conference, offering more than 75 professional development sessions in six categories: building and remodeling, business management, design, kitchen and bath trends, leadership, and marketing.
