Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse
Atlanta | November 21–December 15
Hosted by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, the city’s annual holiday showhouse is designed by a group of local designers. This year’s lineup includes Joy Street Design, GordonDunning, Tish Mills Interiors and Mathews Design Group, each of which will design a space in a circa-1929 Colonial-style home that was once the Buckhead residence of golfer Bobby Jones. The decorated space will also host tours, events and product demonstrations, and all proceeds benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. For more information, click here.
Field + Supply Holiday Market
Kingston, NY | November 30–December 1
Spend a fun-filled weekend perusing more than 50 curated brands—and get your holiday shopping done—at Field + Supply’s Hudson Valley holiday pop-up shop in Kingston’s historic Senate Garage. Miami Art Week
Miami | December 2–8
Encompassing all of Miami’s annual art events, Art Week features everything from pop-up events and exhibits to art shows and public art installations. The celebration includes Art Miami, the second-most attended contemporary art fair in the world; AfriKin Art Fair, showcasing works by African artists; and PhotoMiami, the week’s only photocentric show. Design Miami
Miami Beach | December 3–8
Like its sister events in Basel, Los Angeles and Paris, the Miami Beach outpost of the global forum for collectible design brings together art enthusiasts, experts and designers from across the globe. The annual event takes place right beside Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center and features dozens of exhibitions of historical and contemporary furniture, lighting and art, as well as design talks covering topics like AI and the future of yacht design. La Petite Maison Gala
Houston | December 4
This annual event brings together local architects, builders and designers to transform dollhouses into designer spaces that are auctioned off for charity. This year’s designer roster includes Jean Liu, Avery Cox, Courtney Barton, Jennifer Barron, Lauren Wills Grover, Amy Kummer, Elizabeth Garrett DeWitt and Kristen Leigh Steen. The beneficiary is Family Houston, a nonprofit organization that provides economic opportunities for the city’s underserved communities. For more information, click here.
Charlotte Design Social
Charlotte | December 5
Design Social is popping up in Charlotte this month, connecting interior designers with the artisans and entrepreneurs behind boutique brands from around the country. Representatives from dozens of bespoke textile, wallcovering, lighting and furniture companies will be on hand to mingle with guests at Duke Mansion. Visitors are invited to attend two design conversations: one about modern media, with Business of Home editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen and House Beautiful market director Carisha Swanson; and another on decorating, with Veranda executive editor Ellen McGauley and stylist Mieke ten Have. The Institute of Classical Architecture of Art’s Florida chapter is hosting the lecture “Creating a Classic: Exploring Timeless Collaborations in Architecture & Design” at the Casa Branca Atelier. Cynthia Byrnes Contemporary Art, a digital gallery representing more than 90 artists, presents “Technobabble Blue,” a solo exhibition in New York showcasing a new collection of oil paintings by artist Paul Michael Graves curated by Tessa Rosenstein. Inside the Design Mind: Business, Originality and the Future

In this live webinar, lighting company Lumens and nonprofit creative advocacy organization Be Original Americas present a conversation on the most critical issues that face the design world today. Business of Home editor in chief Kaitlin Petersen moderates a panel featuring John Edelman, CEO of Heller; Claire Pijoulat, co-founder of WantedDesign and brand director of ICFF; and Adam Rolston, creative director of design firm INC Architecture & Design.
