SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 2-3 years of demonstrated work experience with interior design firms
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
• Strong knowledge of high-end residential market and design principles. Interest in design and can speak to current industry trends
• Strongly proficient in the use of Studio Designer, AutoCAD, Sketchup (or similar 3D rendering software), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Microsoft Office programs
• Portfolio must feature projects executed using the tools listed above
• Able to handle multiple deadlines, project scopes, and aesthetics simultaneously
• Trustworthy, discreet, highly presentable with a positive, confident demeanor
• Energetic and ability to be active for large part of day whether on jobsite visits, traveling to showrooms, or assisting with client meetings, etc.
• Must be able to lift, move, and arrange boxes, furniture, samples, and design materials on-site
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with excellent follow through
• Must work in person at our office and travel locally to project sites, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed; must have reliable transportation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist Senior Designers, Design Director and team through all phases of design and install
• Prepare, develop and produce concept images and mood boards as well as produce client presentations in conjunction with other project team members
• Prepare, develop and produce project drawings including surveys, conceptual drawings/sketches, floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, electrical plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, framing plans, and millwork drawings
• Prepare, develop and produce 3D models and renderings
• Prepare, develop and produce project documentation including schedules for the following: materials, finishes, fixtures, hardware, appliances & equipment
• Request and receive estimates and quotes from design showrooms, workrooms, cabinetmakers and other vendors
• Inspect, observe and document services provided by contractors and sub-contractors for design intent
• Assist in production of final design punch list, as required
• Attend, participate and contribute in meetings with clients, internal project team, contractors, sub-contractors and vendors by preparing agendas, taking meeting notes and digitizing said notes, as needed
• Source, select and specify project materials, finishes, fixtures, hardware, appliances and equipment as required for the project in accordance with the project budget and schedule
• Manage the end-to-end proposal and procurement process within Studio Designer, ensuring project timelines are met through diligent expediting and vendor communication
• Work collaboratively with the team to carry design intent through every phase of a project while upholding a client experience that reflects the Wein brand
