Fall is officially on the horizon, and design brands across the globe are gearing up for the season with fashion-forward trends in mind. Some have launched highly conceptual collections with pieces that moonlight as works of art, while others tapped up-and-coming artists and tastemakers to unveil fresh, forward-looking collaborations. Here are some highlights from the latest round of releases.
Wallcovering studio WallPops teamed up with mixed media artist Hadiya Williams’s Black Pepper Paperie Co., a lifestyle brand known for its globally inspired home decor, to release a bold line of peel-and-stick wallpaper. Inspired by movement and migration, the collection features two rhythmic geometric prints, Shift and Traverse, available in three distinct colorways (black, gray and yellow).
Danish furniture and accessories brand Hay revealed a colorful new collaboration with Belgian design duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. The Arcs collection features a trio of scalloped decor pieces in a variety of delightful hues, including a mint green candle holder, a cherry red vase, and a mirrored shade that’s designed to be used with both pendants and table lamps.
Crate & Barrel partnered with Detroit-based design brand Shinola for an exclusive collaboration. The 115-piece collection offers everything from furniture to bedding to utility lighting and decor accessories, with standouts such as the clean-lined Runwell walnut nightstand and the Runwell upholstered queen bed, which boasts a textural, woven headboard.
French textile brand CMO Paris revealed an exquisite selection of wallcoverings called Raphia 2. The collection features three different raffia-woven styles composed of natural fibers, including Pur, Rayures and our current crush, Rosace, which comes clad in hand-arranged pompoms that create a three-dimensional effect.
Furniture brand Rove Concepts debuted its first full lighting collection just in time for fall. The line offers a dozen modern styles ranging from spherical table lamps to geometric pendants, including our personal fave, the asymmetrical Uma floor lamp, which sits on a luxe Carrara marble base and is available in three different finishes.
Melbourne-based textile company Tsar Carpets unveiled an artful assortment of hand-tufted floor coverings called Forma. Available in 25 innovative patterns and colorways, the commanding collection explores themes of energy and optimism with highlights including the colorful tartan-inspired Zara rug and the rich red chevron-style Coda.
Italian bedding and bath brand Verderoccia Firenze unveiled a gorgeous line of customizable towels just before summer’s end. Available in four embroidered patterns in your choice of thread color, the towels are composed of pure Egyptian cotton terry and come in various sizes and styles, ranging from washcloths to bath mats and robes.
Fabric and wallcovering brand Sanderson is celebrating 160 years of design with its new collection One Sixty. Available through Zoffany, the sweeping selection offers 34 different fabric designs and 32 unique wallpapers straight from the company’s legendary archives, but in re-imagined colorways, including the English countryside–inspired Hollyhocks wallpaper on a bold black ground, and the fuchsia-infused floral fabric Very Rose and Peony.
