Fall has arrived, and headline-worthy collections are dropping faster than the temperatures. From marble herringbone-patterned mosaics to Dale Chihuly–designed rugs, here are some of this week’s most memorable launches.
CB2 dropped its highly anticipated second collaboration with Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow. The soon-to-go-viral collection offers more than two dozen minimalist designs punctuated by fluid forms and organic materials, such as the brutalist, resin and cast aluminum Bretagne dining table; the curvy, boucle-clad Leonne sofa; and Nadine, a furry shearling-covered club chair with marble legs and brass capped feet.
Chihuly Studio debuted its second collaboration with The Rug Company. The collection, aptly named Masterpieces II, features four vibrant abstract designs that pay homage to the legendary artist’s handblown glass works, including the whirling River, the dotted Coho, the undulating Scallop and the jewel tone Oyster.
Fromental called on British furniture designer Tom Faulkner to create the Capricorn wallcovering. Available in two distinct colorways, cool Ferrous Blue and warm Copper, the textural velvet design displays a hand-painted ombre circle motif that evokes moving shadows.
Harlequin teamed up with ceramicist Henry Holland for a characterful collaboration. Along with the sinuous Nerikomi upholstery, eye-catchers from the statement-making 28-piece line include fabrics such as the whorling Marble Tapestry and the high-contrast Blenets Check, and wallpapers like the flame stitch Southborough and the moiré-style Elsworthy.
Ann Sacks introduced Miravel into its impressive portfolio of stone surfaces. The honed marble design comes in an array of sizes and styles, including field tiles and a herringbone mosaic, and showcases dreamy shades ranging from creamy white to dusty taupe and deep cocoa (with touches of pink and mineral blue).
Nursery furniture and decor maker Nestig revealed its very first kids bedroom collection. Designed for growing adolescents, the age-appropriate series offers everything from camper-shaped twin beds and enchanted garden–themed wall murals to washable dinosaur rugs, floral bedding and cuddly stuffed animals.
Designer and influencer Lindye Galloway launched a brand-new furniture brand called Le Maé by Lindye. The inaugural collection presents 18 contemporary handcrafted designs adorned in dexterous old-world details, ranging from the gently curved, white oak Porto bench to the grooved dark walnut Trento sconce and the Venice dresser, a two-toned beauty with brass knobs and natural linen door fronts.
James Dunlop Textiles released the Habitat collection just in time for autumn. Available in an assortment of earthy colorways, newcomers comprise the frond-filled, watercolor-painted Atrium; the geometric Bauhaus; and a pair of high-performing FibreGuard solids: the boucle Raptor and the matte velvet Supervio.
SoCal designer Sarah Solis unveiled Galerie Solis, her new artisan-driven home brand. In addition to the Heritage furniture series, which includes bespoke standouts such as the thronelike Crowne chair and the slipcovered Commune chaise, introductions include a lush three-piece fabric line and a curation of vintage rugs and antiques.
Humanscale rolled out the user-oriented Ergonomics Everywhere series. The launch features three stylish, productivity-boosting designs that promote better posture, including the height-adjustable Sedeo stool by Don Chadwick; Todd Bracher’s reclining Trea Lite task chair; and Float Gather, a family of convertible tables that transition from standing desks to sit-down styles with the simple touch of a button.
KitchenAid relaunched its bestselling dishwasher, now dubbed the 360° Max Jets Third Rack. The state-of-the-art design boasts more than 50 water jets across four wash arms and an oversize tub for larger items and superior rinsing, as well as an integrated filtration system that ensures the appliance stays clean and free of debris between uses.
Architectural surface studio Spinneybeck premiered the Design 406 wall system by Austrian-born American sculptor Erwin Hauer. Hand-carved in your choice of five unique woods—with the option to add a paint color or the brand’s leather upholstery—the light-diffusing, room-dividing design consists of individual planks that can be secured to both walls and ceilings.
