We’re not even a full month into summer and spirited launches are already setting the pace for the season. From kinetic chevron fabrics to lattice-inspired tile, here are some highlights from the latest round of releases.
Koket’s newest collection, called The Women of Art Deco, is brimming with jazzy details. In addition to the dangling fringe–covered Lucienne dining chair and the walnut burl–veneered Eleanor armoire, eye-catchers from the lavish 38-piece line include the lacquer-accented Josephine vanity and Florence, a mirrored bar cabinet with a glass mosaic–clad interior.
British fabric and wallcovering house Vanbrugh unveiled its inaugural collection, Garden of Eden. Available as upholstery and paper, the launch translates an elaborate hand-painted mural by Cotswolds-based artist Su Daybell into a dreamy plasterwork-inspired design offered in two pattern scales and several earthy shades.
Kallista expanded its wildly popular Central Park West collection by Robert A.M. Stern Architects into the kitchen. The series draws inspiration from New York’s prewar buildings and features faucets, fillers and sprayers in seven finishes—ranging from polished chrome to unlacquered brass—with knurled and fluted accents.
The Treillage collection by Kelly Wearstler and Ann Sacks is an ode to old-world garden architecture. Designed for the brand’s Made line of handcrafted ceramic and stoneware tile, the debut—which references everything from Renaissance-era parterres to 19th century French conservatories—introduces five linear, trellis-inspired patterns: Cross, Diagonal Left, Diagonal Right, Grid and Weave, all available in a rainbow of colorways.
Swedish wallpaper and mural brand Wallism tapped Clara Hallencreutz for the Heirloom Summer collection. Modeled after the hand-painted murals that adorn the Stockholm-based artist’s summer house in Dalarö, the collaboration features four lush designs—each available in multiple scales, substrates and colorways—including the wildflower-filled Nordic Flora, the vining Emerald Trellis, the rhythmic Rambling Rose and the woodland-themed Oak Hollow.
Dalton, Georgia–based floorcovering brand Anderson Tuftex rolled out the Alta Moda collection. The drop features two 100 percent New Zealand wool carpet designs: Mixtura, a patchwork-style stunner crafted with cut-and-loop construction; and Velluto, a velvet-finished beauty with a subtle drop-stitch stripe.
British botanical artist and textile designer Sarah Gordon’s latest line, Garden Fresco, has arrived at Supply Showroom. Inspired by ancient walled gardens, the collection features five vibrant wallpaper patterns, including the undulating Wave Stripe, the trellis-like Iris Lattice, the boldly banded Fern Stripe, the blossoming Pond Flower mural and the leafy Garden Fresco.
Ernesta released a designer-exclusive rug collection named Earth Tones. Available through the New York brand’s trade program and showrooms, the custom-sizable series—which won’t be released to the public until August—presents four new floorcoverings in several landscape-driven hues, including the pure wool Kyra, the warm neutral Hannah, the lustrous Fleur and the textural Cally.
American fabric house Tillett Textiles added 10 fresh designs into its growing collection at Schumacher. Hand-printed in multiple colorways, noteworthy newcomers range from the spotted Scattered Dot, nautical Scallop Shell and kinetic-zigzag Chevron fabrics to Large Rope, a coastal-style wallpaper with a crisscrossing fretwork motif.
Australian brand Lo & Co debuted Duet, a series of mixed-metal hardware designed in collaboration with Sydney-based architecture firm Smac Studio. The high-contrast collection combines brushed brass with polished nickel and spans 14 statement-making pieces, including a jewelry-like cabinet knob, a beaded drawer pull and a doorknob with a faceted backplate.
