JAMES Showroom is looking for a motivated, organized, team player to join our sales team in Houston. A passion for artisanal resources is a must! The Sales Associates’ primary responsibility is to manage day-to-day showroom operations while providing timely, personalized customer service to all our clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with each of our clients and vendors to provide accurate stock checks and quotes, process orders, and maintain clear communication through delivery of each order.
• Fulfill sample requests, perform sample inventories, and handle all shipping needs related to samples or inventory.
• Assist in the daily organization and presentation of the showroom.
• Work collaboratively with our other team members in Dallas and NYC to maximize outreach to build and foster relationships with new and existing clientele.
• Assist with system/product updates when new designs or pricing is received

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment handling multiple responsibilities.
Knowledge of the textile industry and high-end luxury design
Excellent verbal/written communication ability
Superior organizational and time-management skills
Uphold the high-level of customer service we have built by ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues
Proficient in Microsoft/Google software with ability to learn our sales/project management software
Strong presentation skills

In addition to showroom responsibilities, ideal candidates may have the opportunity for meetings in key locations across our region to build personal relationships with designers outside our showroom locations.
