We are a rapidly growing firm seeking experienced, creative interior designers to join our team. This full-time, in-office role focuses on high-end residential projects and requires candidates who can manage projects from concept to completion. Ideal applicants are passionate, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, working closely under the principal designer across a variety of projects.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Project management
- Space planning, drafting, furniture design, etc
- AutoCad drafting, etc
- Presentations
- Working with architects
- Communication with vendors, fabricators, contractors, etc
- Job site visits
- Working on multiple projects
- Placing orders and following up on those orders
- Selection/sourcing materials, fabrics, furniture, lighting, artwork, etc
- Direct communication with clients
EXPERIENCE:
Senior: minimum 5 years relevant and first-rate experience
Junior: 1-3 years relevant and first-rate experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong educational background, preferably BA in Interior Design
- Auto Cad proficiency
- Interior Design software knowledge (i.e. Studio Designer or Design Manager)
- Responsible for projects from inception to completion
- Experience with high-end budgets
- Ability to manage different client projects simultaneously and orient oneself to new projects quickly
