From C-suite additions to design firm rebrands, read on for BOH’s monthly roundup of arrivals and departures in design, manufacturing, media and more.

Sampling platform Material Bank hired Robert Thiemann as executive vice president of content strategy. Thiemann is the founder and former director and editor in chief of design publication Frame; most recently, he was an adjunct professor and advisor at the IE School of Architecture and Design in Madrid.
House of Rohl, a portfolio of luxury decor brands, made a flurry of appointments to leadership positions. Drew Radtke is the new vice president of sales in North America; Myra Nussbaum is now vice president of global integrated marketing; Stephanie Schepp was named growth strategy and execution lead; and Chris Demko was promoted to plant general manager for Emtek.
Retail & Manufacturing
Lumens, the lighting, furniture and decor retailer, appointed Dave Nielsen CEO. Nielsen, the former president of Beyond Inc., replaced Cristina Miller, who had served as interim CEO since March of last year.
Furniture brand Palliser appointed Cary Benson as president and CEO. Benson previously held this role from 2010 to 2017; since 2018, he has served as president and CEO of Encore, Palliser’s cinema seating division.
The Luxury Kitchen—the West Hollywood–based retail showroom for Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove—hired Michael Rhodes as its new vice president of sales. Rhodes was previously senior director at Ferguson Home.
Ralph Lauren welcomed Ryan Wagner as its new global head of restaurants. Wagner joins from RH, where he worked for 10 years, most recently as vice president of hospitality.
Kitchen brand Novalina hired Maria Gerardino as territory sales representative for Florida. Gerardino was previously an account manager at Eurocraft Cabinetry.
Anthropologie has hired John Murphy as the new executive creative director for its home division. Murphy was previously at sister brand Urban Outfitters for 13 years, most recently serving as the executive creative director of home and lifestyle.
Design & Architecture
Design and architecture firm Carrier Johnson + Culture announced a new leadership team. David Huchteman, who was previously principal, was appointed CEO, and Marin Gertler, who was previously design principal and firm-wide head of design, is now chief design officer. Jackie Angel will continue as COO, and founder Gordon Carrier will remain executive chairman.
London-based Veere Grenney Associates has been renamed to Grenney Greig. Founder Veere Grenney promoted Natasha Greig to partner after 15 years with the firm, where she started as an intern and worked her way up to creative director.
New York– and San Francisco–based firm RYS Architects has rebranded as Studio RYS to reflect its full-service offerings. Joining founder Robert Sauvageau at the helm are Bhavini Hardev, principal of interior architecture, and Lisa Haude, principal of interior design, who is also leading the firm’s new Midwest office. Prior to rejoining RYS last year, Hardev was studio manager of interior architecture and design at Ware Malcomb. Haude was previously the senior vice president and director of interior design at LK Architecture.
Bella Mancini Design has rebranded as Mancini Burns. New York–based designer Bella Mancini, who launched her business 25 years ago, elevated Taryn Burns to partner after nearly 15 years at the firm, where she most recently served as studio director.
Global firm Roam Interior Design promoted Deanne Teeter to principal and Jenny Holt to vice president and senior project manager, both working out of the company’s Dallas office. Teeter has been with Roam since 2023, recently serving as vice president. Holt, who came on the same year, was a project manager associate.
The Brooklyn Studio promoted Jasper Crace to senior associate and studio leader. Crace joined the firm in 2019, and was previously a project manager at the company.
Architecture firm Marmol Radziner welcomed Risa Wadhams as its in-house communications manager. Wadhams joins from Hello PR, where she was an account manager.
Media & PR
Pinterest made two executive hirings. Claudine Cheever is the new chief marketing officer, and Lee Brown is the brand’s first-ever chief business officer. Cheever was previously the vice president of global brand and marketing at Amazon, and Brown was the chief revenue officer at DoorDash.
Industry Organizations
The Gift and Home Trade Association welcomed Amy Loewenberg to the newly created role of director of member relations and marketing. Loewenberg had been the director of buyer and community relations at Emerald.
NeoCon, the Chicago trade show, welcomed Holly Cronin as its new sales executive. Cronin, who was previously a workspace design consultant for Affordable Office Interiors, will support exhibitor growth among established and emerging brands.
The High Point Market Authority announced updates to its Diversity Advocacy Alliance committee. Ben Johnston of Houston-based Benjamin Johnston Design has assumed the role of chair, and Victoria Sanchez of Santa Fe firm Victoria at Home is the new vice chair. The four new committee additions include Rhonnika Clifton of Houston-based RJ Clifton Designs; Marie Cloud of Charlotte-area Indigo Pruitt Design Studio; Rhobin DelaCruz of New York’s Rhobin DelaCruz Designs; and Don Ricardo Massenburg of Design Inkredible in Durham, North Carolina.
Design on a Dime, the annual fundraiser for the New York nonprofit Housing Works, announced its co-chairs for 2026. Los Angeles–based Cliff Fong will join local designers Rayman Boozer, Jamie Drake, Elissa Grayer, Young Huh, David Kaihoi, Charlotte Moss, Joy Moyler and Miles Redd to create shoppable rooms for the May 5 event.
