JOB DESCRIPTION: This position combines both inside and outside sales responsibilities. Inside sales at the D&D Showroom assisting all clients visiting the showroom with trimmings, drapery hardware, and fabric selections.
Outside NYC sales with a mix of residential and hospitality clients, with main focus on hospitality clients
• Host lunch and learns and product presentations at clients offices
• Provide sales support and problem- solving for any Houlès clients, including providing pricing, stock, reserves, and custom requests.
• Responsible for all aspects of the sales process; pulling memos, order entry/follow up, order processing, and tracking until delivery.
• Create and modify client accounts.
• Proactive business development, seek to develop new and inactive clients.
• Be a brand ambassador and a trusted resource to clients on all Houles product categories
• Manage /maintain active provided client accounts.
• 2-3 years of experience in A&D sales
• Knowledge of trimming, drapery hardware, and/or fabric, a plus
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook), required
• Follow-up, organization, planning, and documentation skills
• Strong work ethic, ambition, and drive
• Willingness to learn and adapt to an international environment
