We are looking for a new outside sales and territory manager to join our growing team. This is a new, full-time position based in the Ventura County and Santa Barbara markets. Salary is DOE with a healthy base, uncapped bonus potential, health benefits, PTO, and 401k with company match. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for interior design and building materials and can sell primarily to trade customers (architects, builders, developers etc.) in the central coast markets. We have an established book of business to call on. You would be required to generate new leads as well as call on prospective A&D clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 3-5 years of related sales, interior design, or customer service experience. Tile and Stone and/or interior design sales is a major plus.
• A passion for design and a knowledge and appreciation of the top designers in the market.
• A self-starter mentality, as this position has autonomy to create your own full-time schedule.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Computer savvy with an ability to learn new software.
• An understanding of design and color and willingness to learn our extensive product offerings.
• An understanding of Instagram and an ability to use the platform to connect with designers and consistently keep in contact with them.
• An outgoing, positive attitude.
