The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience with a focus on high-end residential design. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Senior Designer in development of preliminary space planning, conceptual design work, design presentations, 3D models & visualization, rendered floorplans & elevations and full set of construction drawings
• Assist in preparation of specification packages for casework, appliances, plumbing, hardware and finishes
• Work with Senior Designer to update schedules, budgets, meeting agendas, meeting notes, purchase orders, specifications, folders and files, archiving, project materials and submittals, resource library, vendor contacts and more
• Coordination and correspondence with various consultants, vendors, manufacturers, fabricators and contractors
• Assist with site visits, installations and showroom errands, as needed
Requirements:
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited school
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years Interior Design experience
• Excellent presentation skills, including space planning and drawing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite and Sketchup
• Knowledge of Studio Designer or Studio Webware software a plus
• Must possess knowledge of trade sources
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable in interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff
• Adheres to the company values, beliefs, and principles of innovation and excellence in design
• Able to successfully function during times of uncertainty and changing priorities
