Key hybrid role supporting both our Showroom and Sampling operations and our Sales team’s internal processes.
- You’ll ensure that clients enjoy an exceptional in-person experience while keeping sales operations, sample fulfillment, and order management running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Greet and assist clients and designers to help them find wallpaper that fits their projects.
- Process and ship sample requests each day with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail for both sales reps and web customers.
- Forecast, plan, and order sample materials; plan reorder quantities and assemble samples on branded information cards.
- Track and manage sample inventory, perform weekly audits, and coordinate with internal teams and outside suppliers.
- Maintain a clean and organized Sample Department and oversee packing, labeling, and shipping quality.
- Collaborate with the founder and remote sales reps to plan and execute showroom and building tours that showcase the Flavor Paper brand and experience.
- Coordinate sales operations and order management on behalf of sales reps without direct client communication, ensuring internal processes run smoothly.
- Prepare draft orders, enter sample orders, and update Account and Contact records in the CRM, ensuring data accuracy throughout.
- Manage prospecting for new and existing trade accounts and contacts, including entering information into the CRM and syncing it to Shopify.
- Monitor orders in production and target ship dates, communicating any updates or issues to sales reps promptly.
- Handle post-sale support such as lost/damaged shipments, claims, or reprints, liaising with the sales rep and logging all cases in the CRM.
- Ensure adherence to processes and maintain data integrity in the CRM, Shopify, and other systems; proactively correct errors, typos, or incomplete information without needing direction.
- Serve as an internal resource for product information, materials, and capabilities.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in sales support, showroom coordination, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficient with CRM systems and comfortable learning new software tools.
- Positive, professional demeanor with a passion for design, interiors, or architecture.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
- On-site presence required at our Brooklyn headquarters.
