About the Role:
You will work closely with the Principal across all active projects, focusing on the coordination, organization, and execution that keeps everything running.
This is a high trust, high responsibility role where you are managing the details, timelines, and communication across multiple projects at once. You are the person making sure everything is ordered, tracked, documented, and delivered correctly.
What You’ll Do:
-Own the purchasing process from start to finish
-Create, track, and manage purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
-Confirm pricing, lead times, and details before orders are placed
-Track all orders, monitor timelines, and follow up with vendors consistently
-Coordinate with workrooms, vendors, freight, and receiving warehouses
-Flag issues early and resolve them before they impact the project
-Maintain accurate and organized purchasing logs and documentation
Project Coordination:
-Manage timelines across multiple projects and keep everything moving forward
-Communicate clearly with vendors, trades, and partners
-Support scheduling and coordination for installs and key project milestones
-Prepare for installations and ensure everything is ready to execute seamlessly
Operations & Organization:
-Maintain organized client files, trackers, and internal systems
-Support onboarding workflows and internal organization
-Assist with client and vendor communication as needed
-Keep all project details updated, accurate, and easy to track
What We’re Looking For:
-2-5 years of experience in the interior design or construction industry
-Extremely organized and detail-driven
-Strong follow through, you don’t let things sit or get missed
-Able to manage multiple projects and timelines at once
-Clear, professional communicator
-Proactive mindset, you don’t wait to be told what to do
-Comfortable working in a structured, process driven environment
-Experience in interior design, procurement, or a related field preferred
-Familiarity with DesignFiles (or similar systems) is a plus
-Dallas based, hybrid work environment
-Part time which can lead to full time
