Award winning Interior Design firm with offices in Chicago, IL and Palm Beach, FL seeks Interior Architectual Project Assistant to help with high end residential interior design projects.
Ideal candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 2-5+ years’ experience in any or all of the following industry areas: landscaping/architecture/interior design
- Work with Senior Architectural Designer to design and develop architectural details, such as millwork, moldings, decorative ceilings, floor patterns, hardware, lighting, tiles, and stone details.
- Generate AutoCAD floorplans and elevations
- Ability to interpret design concepts and layouts
- Assist in the production of technical plans, floorplans, elevations and detailed drawings
- Generate and update all lighting/plumbing/tile/stone, etc schedules as needed
- The ability to work and manage tasks, with a strong attention to detail

- Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design, including the following computer skills:
-Proficient in AutoCAD/Photoshop
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Knowledge of Studio Designer helpful, but not required
-Knowledge of InDesign, SketchUp, and InDesign graphic software a plus but not required
- The ability to successfully manage time to meet project deadlines as well as a strong work ethic
