AROORK DESIGNER BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LLC, an Accounting Firm for Interior Designers who use project management and accounting software Studio Designer, has openings for experienced Interior Design Bookkeepers and Accountants.
100% Remote (US ONLY) Candidates must be based in the United States
Candidate should possess skills to work independently, develop relationships with client personnel, and begin staff supervision. Resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, independent thinking, and sound business judgment
Experience: Public accounting: 3+ years (Preferred), Bookkeeping: 7+ years (Required), Studio Designer Software: 5 years (Required)
Flexible hours but candidates must be available to work during regular business hours 5 days a week. Minimum commitment of 25 hours (Part-Time) or 40 hours (Full-Time) per week (Excellent benefits for Full-Time candidates only).
Staff Bookkeeper will be responsible for assigned clients' needs in addition to but not limited to the following:
This position will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload and ensure work is completed within agreed-upon time frames.
Remotely connect to assigned clients and provide Studio Designer software training/troubleshooting.
Monthly reconciliations of cash and credit card account transactions
Enter daily and monthly sales for credit card payments, wire transfers, cash receipts, etc
Confirm A/P and A/R accounts are correct.
Complete invoice processing as required for sales tax purposes
Resolving accounting vendor and client payment discrepancies
Assisting in month-end close procedures, journal entries, preparing financial statements, sales and payroll tax reporting, other reconciliations, etc
Year-end 1099s
Listens carefully to client questions and needs
Adhere to strict client confidentiality
Maintain a professional development plan to continually develop technical and professional skills consistent with the Firm's requirements and philosophy.
