We are seeking a driven, dynamic and highly motivated Sales Representative to join our New York City team. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with designers, architects in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, industry experience & contacts, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to drive results in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing trade clients, including interior designers, architects, and design firms
- Actively promote Erik Lindstrom’s product line by conducting showroom visits/events, presentations, and design consultations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence in the assigned territory
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of samples, orders, and follow-ups
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets defined by management
- Personable, professional and hyper organized work ethic
- Proven experience in sales, preferably with rugs or industry related products
- Strong network within the NYC design community
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
