This position is for a highly motivated, experienced design professional who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding creative environment, and has a strong sense of urgency, excellence, organization and follow through. This person should have at least 6-9 years of hands-on experience in executing and managing all aspects of an interior project. The main responsibility is to manage all aspects of assigned interiors projects in collaboration with the Principal and the Senior Project Director (SPD).
Responsibilities include:
•Collaborate with Principal and SPD to develop concepts, sketches, draft of documents and specifications for assigned projects.
•Manage all aspects of the assigned project including, but not limited to, Client/vendor relationships, vendor/contractor relationships, design process, drawings, proposals, budget documents, etc. and work with team members to achieve overall profitability of the assigned projects.
•Help create the scope of work, establish timelines and schedules for every part of the project.
•Service as main liaison between SPD and the vendors, as well as with the Architectural team, Expediting and Accounting departments to Branca.
•Research and source material, hardware, fabrics, furniture, treatments and accessories as determined by the requirements of each project.
•Prepare and manage all project documents, including, but not limited to, orders, proposals, inventory, plans, project binders, files, correspondence, all drawings, Client baskets, samples, etc.
•Supervise assigned project Assistants and team in the preparation of all project boards, books and any samples for Client meetings and presentation.
•Prepare ALL custom purchase orders and manage interiors staff for all other material orders with vendors per the direction
•Work with Principal and SPD to schedule, coordinate and manage all details of Clients installations
This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Studio Designer and related computer programs, and be comfortable with a wide range of office tasks and technology.
