Audrey Campbell Design is seeking an exceptionally driven Associate Designer to join our studio. This role is ideal for a highly organized, self-driven individual with a passion for luxury residential design and a desire to take ownership of projects. The Associate Designer will collaborate closely with the Principal Designer while taking ownership of the day-to-day design development, client communication, and execution of projects from concept through installation.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, confident managing multiple priorities, and enjoys solving problems while moving projects forward. This role offers significant opportunity for growth and long-term advancement within a collaborative boutique studio.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
• Develop design concepts, furnishings packages, finish selections, and construction details for luxury residential projects.
• Source furnishings, finishes, lighting, plumbing, and architectural elements.
• Prepare furniture plans, elevations, and construction drawings in AutoCAD.
• Generate schedules, specifications, and technical documentation to support project execution.
• Develop and present design concepts and client presentations with confidence and professionalism.
• Lead client meetings, site visits, and vendor consultations.
• Lead communication and coordination among clients, vendors, trades, and consultants to ensure projects move forward efficiently and design intent is executed accurately.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Oversee project progress from concept through installation, proactively identifying next steps and helping maintain project momentum.
• Contribute to studio processes and proactively identify solutions to project challenges.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Interior Design program.
• 4–6 years of residential interior design experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Studio Designer.
• Knowledge of SketchUp preferred but not required.
• Experience leading client and vendor meetings and producing construction drawings.
• Exceptional eye for scale, color, pattern, and detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and drive tasks to completion.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to project ownership and execution.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in Dallas, Texas, with reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
