What To Know – The Role:
We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our fast-growing team and company. We’re looking for someone who has experience in accounting, Studio Designer, and the interior design industry, who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive right in. Our team is remote and distributed across time zones, meaning that we need someone who is comfortable operating in a distributed environment and who understands and is excited by the unique opportunities (and challenges!) that come when a company is growing quickly.
Expected Responsibilities:
● Manage 2 - 5 Bookkeepers on projects (may include oversight of bookkeepers for personnel management)
● Manage a portfolio of clients, covering all of their ongoing tasks and needs
● Complete, clean up, and review Project Worksheets (client facing)
● Review and process payrolls along with dedicated payroll clerk
● Answer client questions via email related to software or accounting
● Oversee AP clerk if needed as it relates to your client needs
● Oversee and give feedback to the bookkeepers you are working with
● Review quarterly financials, monthly cashflows and visual statement
● Post journal entries
● Gather all materials needed for year end filings, including 1099s and year end close
● Coordination with tax team to ensure accuracy of general ledger and supporting schedules
About You:
● You have excellent attention to detail and can keep numerous plates spinning at once
● You thrive on deadlines and know how to manage yourself and other team members to meet those deadlines
● You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
● You are not afraid to say ‘I don’t know’ and to find the correct resource to answer your question
