KRB is seeking a part-time detail-oriented, proactive Sales Assistant to help maintain the daily operations
and presentation of our NYC showroom. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to maintaining
a refined, well-organized, and inviting showroom environment while actively contributing to sales efforts
and cultivating strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist retail and trade clients, providing product guidance and tear sheets
- Process in-person sales via Shopify point of sale terminal
- Maintain impeccable showroom standards: ensure the sales floor and back-of-house are
consistently clean, organized, styled, and fully stocked
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Re-merchandise and replenish floor models promptly as items sell
- Prepare, wrap, and process customer pickups and approvals (memos), including photo
documentation and tracking
- Monitor and replenish samples as needed
- Assist with operational upkeep (plants, trash, laundry coordination, general tidiness)
- Keep the stockroom orderly and inventory easily accessible
- Support inventory tasks including tagging, unpacking, measuring, and organizing new
merchandise
Compensation: Hourly plus commission
Qualifications
- Retail, showroom, or interior design experience preferred
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard for visual presentation
- Organized, self-motivated, and hands-on
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
