Studio Four NYC is looking for a full-time sales associate with excellent customer service skills to join our close-knit team to:
- Build and maintain relationships with luxury residential interior design firms. You will work with a list of designers already established with Studio Four and also develop new clients, including those who discover us through our website.
- Meet and exceed sales goals established with the sales management team.
- Be involved in all aspects of carpet, rug, wallpaper and fabric orders.
- Focus primarily on showroom sales, with outside visits to client offices.
- Participate in regular sales and staff meetings.
- Assist with merchandising the showroom displays and new product selections.
- Participate in Studio Four and other industry events to promote brand awareness.
- Stay current on all aspects of sales and product information, industry trends and publications, including social media.
This is a full-time position in-person in our New York showroom.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A comprehensive understanding of sales in a multi-line showroom environment.
- One to three years sales experience in interior design or adjacent fields. History of art and design, textile and/or carpet background is a plus, but we will train the right person.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with luxury interior design and architectural firms.
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Attention to detail and follow up is key.
- The ability to multi-task and roll with the punches! It always helps to have a good sense of humor about ever-changing schedules when it comes to design projects.
- BS/BA/BFA Degree
