Job Description

LVR Studios is seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead the design vision and execution of projects from concept through completion. The Senior Interior Designer serves as the lead designer responsible for overseeing the full design process, including conceptualization, development, coordination, documentation, and field execution.

Working closely with the Principal, this role leads the design team in creating exceptional spaces that align with client goals, project requirements, budget constraints, and LVR Studios’ design standards and branded aesthetic. The ideal candidate is an organized leader with strong design instincts, technical expertise, and experience managing projects and teams through all phases of design and construction.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful design leader who balances creativity with technical execution. They are proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where design excellence and client experience are top priorities.

The Senior Interior Designer role offers an initial part-time schedule with a planned transition to full-time employment in the fall.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Minimum 6–8+ years of professional interior design experience required
- Proven experience leading projects from concept through construction administration
- Strong understanding of interior architecture, space planning, detailing, FF&E selection, and construction documentation
- Working knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities
- Strong technical and high-level proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Software, and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
