Job Description

Studio Volpe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented mid-level Interior Designer / Project Manager to support our high-end residential projects from concept through installation. This fully remote, New York based position requires exceptional organizational and project management skills to ensure seamless project support across all phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables
• Coordinate across internal teams, vendors, and contractors
• Oversee procurement, including quote requests, order tracking, and issue resolution
• Oversee shipping, storage, delivery, and installation of items
• Prepare client presentations
• Create client proposals in Studio Designer
• Support design development, including material selection, FF&E scheduling, and specifications
• Produce floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, and scaled drawings aligned with architectural plans
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
• Create drawings for custom furniture

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in high-end residential design
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Comprehensive understanding of the design process from concept through installation
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and collaborate remotely, while taking ownership of individual responsibilities

Technical Skills

• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Photoshop
• Solid knowledge of Studio Designer
• Experience rendering a large plus
