Job Description

Seeking a highly organized and creative Project Manager/Senior Interior DECORATOR to lead residential projects from concept to installation. This dual-role position requires exceptional leadership and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead creative development of high-end residential projects, producing original concepts while working closely with the Principal

- Manage client presentations, communications, and relationships professionally.

- Develop comprehensive design schemes, furniture plans, finish schedules and lighting plans.

-Sourcing of luxury furniture, fabrics, finishes, art, and accessories.

- Prepare and oversee client presentations, including mood boards, drawings, and sample boards.

- Liaise with artisans and workrooms.

- Create, manage, and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and critical path schedules while troubleshooting issues

- Manage relationships with contractors, architects, artisans, vendors, and trades.

- Manage project financials, including billing, change orders, and client invoices.

- Coordinate project installations.

-Collaborate effectively with Principal, design team, and support staff. -Delegate tasks and provide clear direction to junior designers.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field and a minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in high-end residential interior design.

- Mastery of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

- Proficiency in Design Manager or similar project management software.

- Extensive knowledge of luxury furniture brands, antiques, fabrics, finishes, etc.

- Impeccable taste and refined design sensibility.

- Outstanding communication, presentation, and client-relation skills.

- Superior organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a calm, authoritative demeanor.

- Unwavering attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

- Discretion and ability to handle confidential client information.
