Job Description

Marc Phillips Decorative Rugs is seeking a Production & Client Account Coordinator to join our Los Angeles Showroom team. This position plays a key role in facilitating client projects with a strong emphasis on production coordination, custom rug execution, and internal collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a polished communicator with a refined eye for design, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of custom product workflows. You’ll serve as an in-house point of contact for clients and team members, working closely with our Sales Director, Founder, Sales, and Production teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience—from design consultation and sampling through production and delivery.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the design community as the primary point of contact throughout the production process.
Conduct showroom appointments and consultations to guide clients through rug selections and customization options that meet their project briefs.
Support the Sales Director and Team with quotes, sampling coordination, order entry, and client follow-up.
Work closely with assigned independent representatives, providing timely communication, production updates, and management of their project pipeline.
Answer phone calls to assist clients directly or route inquiries to the appropriate team member to ensure prompt and professional service.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of specifications, timelines, and timely project completion.
Manage custom and in-stock rug orders from order confirmation through production, shipping, and delivery.
Maintain accurate CRM records, order details, and project tracking using Salesforce.
Provide showroom support including greeting clients, coordinating samples and shipments, and general administrative tasks.
Uphold the Marc Phillips standard of excellence through proactive communication, attention to detail, and team collaboration.

Qualifications & Desired Skills
2–5 years of experience in account management, production coordination, or client services within the interior design, luxury furnishings, or textiles industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered, solutions-oriented approach.
Highly organized with excellent follow-up, time management, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while tracking changing priorities and deadlines.
Working knowledge of rug construction, materials, color, and customization nuances is a strong plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Mac OS; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce strongly preferred.
