Job Description

Robert Stilin is an AD100/Elle Décor A-List design firm that is currently seeking an intelligent, detail-oriented, and sales-driven Inventory/Shop Manager to grow the dealing arm of our company’s work. With the assistance of the Inventory Coordinator, this individual will manage the company’s vast inventory of vintage and antique furniture, lighting, ceramics, and decorative objects. The Inventory/Shop Manager will also cultivate existing and new sales opportunities to help grow this wing of our office’s business activity. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and meticulous individual with strong proficiency in both back-end logistics and front-end sales, as well as a familiarity with the decorative arts.

Job Requirements

Primary Job Duties
• Catalogues new inventory on the company’s internal database
• Coordinates pick-up, packing, and shipping of inventory from domestic and international dealers/sellers
• Plans and superintends master schedule for reupholstery, rewiring, and restoration work on inventory
• Prepares and reviews pricing of all inventory with Managing Member
• Organizes photoshoots/video shoots and devises promotional material for the Robert Stilin Shop through e-blasts and Instagram
• Conducts sales outreach with interior design firms, independent decorators, and other prospective clients
• Oversees all Robert Stilin Shop orders, both for vintage/antique inventory as well as custom furniture and lighting
• Maintains clear records of Robert Stilin Shop sales and ensures timely payment from clients and buyers
• Supports the office’s special projects, including exhibitions and publications

Education & Experience
• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Background in inventory management, logistics, and sales preferred
• Familiarity with and/or interest in 20th century furniture, lighting, and ceramics preferred
