Job Description

As a Sales Account Executive, you'll manage and grow an established territory, (MI, OH, IN, KY, & Toronto) by strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business within the architecture and design community.

Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with architects, interior designers, dealers, end users, and other key decision-makers.
- Develop new business while growing existing accounts to achieve sales goals.
- Execute territory sales and marketing strategies to expand market share.
- Partner with Design, Marketing, Production, and Customer Experience teams to deliver custom flooring solutions.
- Manage projects from initial consultation through installation, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately track opportunities in the company's CRM.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.
- Represent Scott Group Studio at client meetings, showroom appointments, networking events, and industry trade shows.
- Strengthen Scott Group Studio's presence within the architecture and design community through ongoing relationship building and professional engagement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Design, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of outside sales, account management, or business development experience.
- Experience with architecture & design (A&D), commercial interiors, luxury furnishings, flooring, textiles, or related industries preferred.
- Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Travel:
- Regular travel throughout Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Toronto, Ontario, with occasional travel elsewhere in North America.

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, including between the U.S. and Canada.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with wool products.
- Ability to pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test (or equivalent color vision assessment).
