Munder-Skiles — one of the most respected names in luxury outdoor furniture, with showrooms in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, London, and Paris — is seeking an Operations Manager to join our New York team at the New York Design Center (200 Lex).
This role exists to do one thing exceptionally well: enable our Sales team to close more business by removing the operational friction that slows them down. The Operations Manager will own the day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks that sit between a client's first inquiry and the delivery of their order — writing proposals, managing the CRM, coordinating with production and logistics, communicating with clients, and solving problems before they become delays.
Key Responsibilities - The Operations Manager will draft detailed sales proposals and quotes, describe product attributes and customization options to clients, and assist trade professionals who visit our 200 Lex showroom. The role requires active management of leads and client data in our NetSuite CRM system, regular coordination with our production team for custom pricing and lead times, and securing accurate shipping estimates. When issues arise, the Operations Manager will be the first to respond — resolving complaints and logistical challenges with the professionalism our clients expect.
The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of experience in operations, sales support, or showroom management within the luxury furniture, interior design, or to-the-trade industry. Proficiency with CRM software is required; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the kind of polished, composed presence that fits naturally in a high-end trade showroom environment.
