THE POSITION
Junior Interior Designer with 2+ years of high end residential design experience.
Will work alongside principal and senior designers in all phases of the design process from concept through installation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sourcing furniture, finishes, fabrics
- Assist in developing and preparing client presentations
- Interact with vendors and contractors to procure estimates, place orders and follow up on outstanding orders
- Assist in managing project calendars, budgets and administrative details
- Manage materials library
- Support social media and marketing efforts
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
- Holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
- Is highly resourceful, organized and self-motivated
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and can think several steps ahead
- Can skillfully juggle multiple projects at the same time
- Has a working knowledge of the marketplace; existing relationships with vendors is a plus
- Has excellent communication skills and is highly attentive to detail
- Is fully competent in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Possesses an excellent sense of humor and takes pride in their work
- Is comfortable working in a dog friendly environment
- This is an in-person role, remote candidates will not be considered
