Fall may be just around the corner, but if the latest launches are any indication, designers still aren’t quite ready to let go of the carefree motifs of summer. From flower-shaped cast-glass-clad drink tables to reversible leopard-print fabrics, here are some can’t-miss debuts in the recent round of releases.
Ward + Gray debuted a tonal selection of artisan-made rug designs dubbed The Blues. The series features five cool-hued Ghazni wool floorcoverings, including the chessboard-inspired Checkmate; the washed-indigo Iris; the antique-distressed Mengikat; the linear Rolling Hitch; and Spellbound, an op-art-esque eye-catcher outfitted in a medley of geometric motifs.
Timothy Corrigan introduced an array of fanciful performance designs into his ongoing collaboration with Perennials. In addition to fresh fabric patterns, such as the reversible Leaping Leopards and boldly banded Stripe Du Jour, and new colorways for Feel the Heat and Go For Baroque, the debut offers a trio of Tibetan knotted-rug styles, including the graphic Cloudscape, the medallion-filled Arabesque and the kaleidoscopic Chateau.
Los Angeles–based landscape studio Orca released an ultra-chic line of environmentally conscious brick pavers. Crafted from native clays and recycled concrete, the launch spans six outdoor-ready collections, including Terrazzo Clay, Worn Clay, Brick Clay, Recycled Block, Cobble Clay and Pressed Clay. Several of the designs are also offered in tile form; and when installed properly outdoors, the pavers allow water to pass through to replenish the earth beneath them.
Everhem launched the Hues collection. The debut re-imagines the Los Angeles window-treatment brand’s customizable Belgian linen drapes, shades and cafe curtains in seven of-the-moment colorways, ranging from the crisp white Quartz and amber Cognac to the jewel-toned Juniper and deep brown Umber.
Chasing Paper teamed up with DIY influencer Ashley Basnight for its latest collaboration. Available in traditional and peel-and-stick options, the collection boasts six wallpaper prints dressed in high-contrast patterns and striking hues, including the avocado-colored Endless End, the kente-cloth-like Everlast and the 1970s-style Medallion.
Tom Faulkner unveiled a flowery new series of furniture named Lily. The hand-crafted collection draws inspiration from the fluid silhouettes of lily pads and includes everything from upholstered ottomans with hidden storage and a sculptural metal-and-marble plinth, with standouts such as a Venetian glass-topped cocktail table and an undulating mirror available in your choice of steel or bronze.
Veere Grenney added nine timeless designs into his fabric-and-wallpaper collection for Schumacher. Along with the spryly speckled Stella Stripe and the all-cotton Woodman Check, highlights from the duo’s latest collaboration include the romantic, rose-covered Lavinia; and Suffolk Damask, a Venetian silk–style marvel showcasing a hand-drawn botanical motif.
Zafferano tapped Sara Moroni for a delightful assortment of cordless lamp designs called Amelie. The line introduces four styles—including a table, wall, garden and floor lamp—adorned in soft earthy hues, such as minty Leaf Green and rusty Terracotta, and removable shades that can be hung from the ceiling like pendant lights.
Patterson Flynn’s Skansen series is brimming with Scandi-style whimsy. The collection pays tribute to antique Swedish rugs and features six vibrant geometric designs in multiple colorways, including the lattice-like Lulea; the jacquard tapestry-esque Fantasia; and Freyr, a pixelated stunner with a folksy floral border.
