CB2 recently launched a new collaboration with Los Angeles–based, South African–born interior designer Ross Cassidy. The CB2 x Ross Cassidy collection features 33 pieces, including lighting, accessories, rugs, pillows and furniture, and is now online and at CB2 stores.
The collection captures Cassidy’s understated and minimalist aesthetic. “I’m always looking for the perfect foundational pieces that won’t compete for attention in a room. I’m excited to collaborate with CB2 to create just those pieces,” says Cassidy. “This collection was inspired by Zen philosophy, and the simplicity, functionality, minimalism and balance associated with it. I believe simplicity is very complex, and each and every detail in anything that is designed should be purposeful and considered.”
CB2 managing director Ryan Turf adds, “It has been fascinating to be a part of Ross’s artistic process, going from his original watercolor drawings—the initial step in anything he designs—to the final pieces. Ross’s clean, minimalist designs evoke a feeling of modern luxury, which fits perfectly within the CB2 aesthetic.”
