On Wednesday evening, Elle Decor editor in chief Whitney Robinson, Mansour Soleimani, Benjamin Soleimani and A-List designer Michael S. Smith hosted a dinner to celebrate the new Mansour showroom in Manhattan and the launch of the new Michael S. Smith rug collection for Mansour. More than 100 guests attended the candle-lit dinner in the new rooftop showroom, where L.A.-based singer and trumpeter Chris Norton performed with his jazz band.
Designers from the magazine’s A-List were on hand to celebrate the opening, including James Aman, John Meeks, Niya Bascom, Anishka Clarke, Neal Beckstedt, Sasha Bikoff, Sheila Bridges, Paloma Contreras, Jamie Drake, Nicole Fuller, Steven Gambrel, Young Huh, James Huniford, Alyssa Kapito, Suzanne Kasler, Garrow Kedigian, Celerie Kemble, Amy Lau, Katie and Jason Maine, Brian McCarthy, Jayne and Joan Michaels, Joy Moyler, Nick Olsen, Alex Papachristidis, Emma Jane Pilkington, Linda Pinto, Sarah Ramsey, Robert Stilin, Katie Sutton, Virginia Tupker, Ashley Whittaker and Ann Wolf.
Elle Decor editors and contributors in attendance included Robinson, Ingrid Abramowitz, Parker Bowie Larson and Cynthia Frank. Actress/singer Vanessa Williams also joined the celebration.
