About our Company

Ursino Interiors strives to design homes that evoke a sense of intimate familiarity, laying the groundwork for soulful spaces that are reflective of the people who live in them. We work carefully to achieve balance between traditional and modern elements, thoughtfully examining the push and pull of the historic and contemporary, to tailor spaces that visually tell each client’s unique story. With a deep passion for working with natural materials rooted in simplicity, we are drawn to creating spaces that reveal themselves over time – spaces intended to slowly age, the same way families do. We firmly believe these are the key factors that allow for a home to provide you with lasting memories.

Principal Designer Maureen Ursino originally founded Ursino Interiors in 2016 as a side business alongside completing her Master of Arts in Interior Design from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University. Upon graduating, she worked for a commercial architecture and engineering firm designing spaces for Fortune 500 companies. In 2018, Maureen followed her passion for designing residential spaces, and the emotional connection that comes from helping clients turn a house into a home and launched Ursino Interiors into a full-service studio in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Maureen has quickly built Ursino Interiors into a nationally recognized firm with work published in the Wall Street Journal, Vogue Living, 1st Dibs Introspective, Elle Décor, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens, The Expert and LUXE.
