Britto Charette is seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our Miami-based interior design studio on a part-time basis with the possibility of becoming a full-time employee. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside award-winning principals Jay Britto and David Charette on luxury residential interior design projects. JOB DESCRIPTION
Key responsibilities for this part-time position include but are not limited to:
• Project Assistance: Assist the principals with project documentation, and administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth execution
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the principal designers, clients, vendors, architects, and trades regarding project status and needs; attend meetings as needed
• Material Sourcing: Research and source high-end materials and obtain quotes
• Order Tracking: Assist principals in tracking orders, proposals, invoices, and payments using Design Manager software
• Site Visits: Oversee installations to ensure Britto Charette projects are completed to the highest standard
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of two years working in the luxury residential interior design sector
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must
• Competency in InDesign and Photoshop
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and anticipate needs of clients, vendors, team members, and trades
• Eagerness to learn
• A creative mindset
• Desire to create luxurious interiors for our clients and to earn their trust
• Abide by client confidentiality agreements and NDA’s
