We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Interior Designer to join our New York City studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in both hospitality and residential design, and a passion for creating distinctive, character-rich interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and contribute to the design and development of interior projects from concept through completion.
* Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and specifications using CAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
* Act as a front-facing representative of the studio, confidently presenting ideas and managing client relationships.
* Oversee project timelines, ensuring design integrity and delivery standards are maintained.
* Work closely with hospitality teams and residential clients to deliver thoughtful, tailored design solutions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of hospitality and residential projects
* High proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Word
* Exceptional creativity with a refined sense of colour, texture, and spatial design
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects

The Kit Kemp Design Studio is a London/NYC-based interior design studio founded by Kit Kemp. We are a dynamic group of twelve experienced designers, working across residential and commercial interior design and creative direction in the UK and internationally.
