Jaqui Seerman Design is a nationally recognized boutique interior design firm based in Los Angeles. We are seeking a creative, detail-driven Design Assistant to join our team, dedicated to providing support in the successful execution of multiple large-scale residential and commercial projects.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the principal and design team, as well as with high-level vendors across the Los Angeles design industry, including architects, artisans, contractors, and developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide personal assistant support to the Principal, including scheduling, shopping, errands, and day-to-day administrative needs
• Manage office operations, including supplies, shipping, filing, organization, and general office management
• Assist the design team with project management, including timelines, budgets, and task coordination
• Support meetings, presentations, and professional correspondence
• Coordinate and manage logistics for product orders, deliveries, and installations
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic (and occasionally chaotic) team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Studio Designer, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Los Angeles–based, in-person role
