Mirth Studio and Hue & Dot are growing design brands focused on pattern-forward flooring, tile, and interiors. We’re looking for an organized, personable, design-minded team member to join us at our new showroom in the new Charleston Design District.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, thrives in a small team setting, and is comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with day-to-day operational support. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and sales skills, a great eye for design, and enthusiasm for interiors and materials. No two days are exactly alike, and we’re looking for someone who is excited to jump in where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our showroom Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Welcome and assist showroom visitors, designers, and clients.
- Lead sales efforts and build strong customer relationships.
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics for customer orders.
- Process customer invoices.
- Help organize samples, orders, and project communications.
- Support the team with various operational and administrative tasks as needed.
- Strong communication, organizational, and sales skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.
- Strong eye for design and interest in interiors, materials, and architecture.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced small business environment.
- Comfortable handling both customer-facing and operational responsibilities.
- QuickBooks, Shopify and Monday experience is preferred, though we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Interior design background or degree is a plus.

For over a decade, Mirth Studio has been creating distinctive decorative surfaces rooted in pattern, artistry, and craftsmanship. Founded by artist and decorative painter Sally Bennett, the brand is built around Sally’s original hand-painted designs, which serve as the starting point for every collection. Hue & Dot is Mirth Studio’s couture counterpart, centered on customization, collaboration, and bespoke artistry. Together, the two brands create both curated collections and one-of-a-kind design solutions, from custom hardwood flooring and made-to-order rugs to hand-painted architectural embellishments for walls, ceilings, and millwork. This summer, Mirth Studio and Hue & Dot will open a showroom in the new Charleston Design District, offering an immersive new space that reflects Sally Bennett’s distinctive creative vision and celebrates the intersection of art, interiors, and decorative design.
