Great opportunity to learn all aspects of the interior design business while working with Principal & Lead Designers.
Looking for motivated, confident, energetic self-starter who can multi-task.
Good communication, drawing, and computer skills are essential.
Position requires working with clients, vendors and construction professionals.
Required:
• Sales, retail, or restaurant experience
• Interior Design degree and/or experience in the Interior Design industry.
• Auto-CAD, Quick Books, Power Point, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Canva
• Business attire, references & vehicle
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist Principal Designer & Lead Designers in every aspect of projects.
• Design documentation: floor plans, elevations, details. Specifications: Plumbing, lighting, appliances, and finishes. Preparing appropriate binders. Meeting notes at site visits/client meetings.
• Job progress tracking: Awareness of all project/design phases. Help coordinate job flow and upcoming tasks needed.
• Vendor interaction: Coordinating quotes, purchases, samples, and deliveries.
• Client interaction: Coordination of meeting times/locations and assist designers in meeting preparation and agendas.
• Product management: Product quotes and information, purchase orders, merchandise tracking, order confirmations, deliveries, and invoicing.
• General office organization: Coordination of product samples and returns. Organization of client binders and boxes, sample library, mail, etc. New product research. Stocking and ordering of office supplies. Some out of office errands.
