If so, Studio Ore invites you to join our team as a Business Developer for the Texas market.
As a Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Studio Ore’s presence in the Texas from our space in Austin. This is far more than a sales role – it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in our products, become a trusted advisor to our clients, and contribute to the continued expansion of our brand in a key market. You will ideally be a graduate in an art or design or another creative field to apply for this role.
Your Responsibilities
Client Partnership: Build and nurture strong relationships with leading interior designers, architects, and specifiers in Texas, ensuring Studio Ore becomes their go-to partner for brass fittings.
Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product range to assist clients in specifying the right products for their projects.
Market Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Texas, aligning with our strategic goals and vision.
Show space Collaboration: Work from our private show space, hosting clients and showcasing our designs to inspire and inform. We are currently in the process of sourcing a suitable space, and you will play a key role in helping identify and secure the ideal location for our Austin private showroom.
Travel: Regularly visit clients across Texas to maintain a strong presence in the market, attending meetings, industry events, and project consultations. Offering lunch and learns and introductory meetings to new clients as well as existing.
Who You Are
Design Enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for interiors and architecture, with 3+ years experience working with interiors trade clients and within premium interior brands.
Relationship Builder: You excel at building lasting professional relationships and preferably have a network within the interior design and architecture community.
Business Development: you have experience seeking new business opportunities, preparing quotations, negotiating and closing sales
Detail-Oriented: You have a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
Travel-Ready: You are prepared to travel regularly across Texas.
Self Motivated: This is a self-driven position requiring a high level of initiative. Although the role is inherently highly social—centred on ongoing engagement with our client network and the cultivation of new relationships—the successful candidate will initially be based independently in Austin as we establish our local presence.
Full US Driving Licence is required
