When she needed to make a new hire, the Bay Area designer tapped a recruiter to unlock a deeper well of talent than she could have accessed on her own
In early 2023, Noz Nozawa looked at her team and wondered if she needed to add a new member. She had assembled three talented employees who were passionate about the work but fairly new to the scope of projects the firm had begun to land. Nozawa had a nagging feeling she needed someone with more project management experience. At the same time, that sounded expensive.
“I was very chicken to put a real listing out there,” admits the San Francisco–based designer. “I decided to take a baby step and put a nondisclosed company listing out in the universe.”
