How a business coach helped this designer build a waitlist of new clients

Stephanie Calderon knew her firm wasn’t reaching its full potential, but wasn’t sure how to get there until she tapped a skilled strategic advisor to revamp her systems.

Charlotte-based designer Stephanie Calderon had all but given up on consultants. “I had paid for group business coaching, but didn’t find the personalized support or guidance I was looking for, so I was hesitant to do it again,” says Calderon, who launched her firm four years ago. Though business was steady, she sensed that her processes could be tightened and the path toward her goals shortened, so she decided to give the consulting process one more shot. Thanks to a referral from an industry partner, her new coach had all the skills she was seeking, and immediately helped her button up her systems. The results were as swift as they were concrete: growth that has allowed her to fill out her team, extend her project pipeline and move into a bigger office.
