Neri&Hu and Rafael de Cárdenas show off luxe fittings collection

Vaia, a new DORNBRACHT series of premium fittings designed for the trade, has debuted in a special showcase designed by New York–based architect Rafael de Cárdenas and NERI&HU Design and Research Office of Shanghai. Drawing inspiration from transitional style, the fittings are spotlighted in vignettes designed by the pros.

“We imagined a fictional place, a house where two characters are living: an introvert and an extrovert,” says Neri&Hu founding partner Lyndon Neri of the environments they designed. “The everyday rituals of life are celebrated and raised to the status of a ceremony.”

Dornbracht approached the designers to create mood boards, material collages and bathroom architectural designs, which would ultimately serve as inspiration for architects, interiors designers and bathroom planners, as well as consumers.
