Part-Time Project Manager / Junior Designer / Assistant — 15–25 Hours/Week — $40–$45/Hour

Wendy Chaikin Designs is seeking a part-time Project Manager / Junior Designer / Assistant for the principal's own project in East Hampton, NY.

On-site and remote; local to the Hamptons or closer to NYC where the principal lives is ideal — will consider non-local candidates for remote work but less ideal, depending on experience.

The role (15–25 hours/week, flexible as projects move along):
- Keep project on track: timelines, budgets, deliverables
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, workrooms, and deliveries
- Track orders from placement through installation
- Site visits and client communication as needed

You:
- 3–5 years of residential interiors experience
- Must be facile with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Studio Designer or a similar program to keep projects organized
- Highly organized, proactive, strong communicator
- Resourceful
- Comfortable juggling multiple parts
- Checkable references
- Local to the East End ideal (able to be in East Hampton regularly); open to non-local depending on experience
- Reliable transportation if local; must be able to drive and use my car if in NYC

Compensation: $40–$45/hour, paid in cash — highly tied to level of experience.
