Sharp Communications just opened its first regional division in West Palm Beach, on Antique Row, in response to an increase in clients in the Miami, Palm Beach, Orlando and Tallahassee areas.

At present, the full-service marketing communications firm employs 40 people, with teams dedicated to media relations, social media, advertising and special events, which work with clients across industries that include architecture and design; food, beverage and wellness; luxury lifestyle; the arts; financial services; and philanthropy.
“We’re thrilled to bring our holistic, cutting-edge strategies and creativity to local and national businesses located in Florida,” says James Sharp Brodsky, founder and president of the agency. “Our West Palm Beach office is poised to provide clients with on-the-ground local insight and expertise, while leveraging our national media relationships and resources based in New York City.”

Nicole Janok, a Florida native and graduate of the University of Florida, who worked as a reporter at the Palm Beach Post, is leading the Florida team, bringing previous experience as a Sharp account director in New York. “It’s very exciting to return to Sharp and to my hometown,” says Janok, senior vice president and regional director. “We have an immensely talented group of ‘Sharpies,’ and I’m looking forward to bringing our collective expertise, strategic insight and creativity to clients in Florida.”
