Overall: Anne Pulliam Interiors is seeking a positive, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Design Assistant to join our Richmond office. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to support residential projects in a fast-paced, collaborative office with projects all over the East Coast. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and efficient, with the ability to multitask, work quickly, and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is a professional and polished demeanor. An interest of the interior design industry is required. We are looking for someone who thrives in a creative environment, is eager to learn, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every task. This role is primarily in-office and requires a consistent presence Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Fridays are flexible unless project needs require otherwise. As a project-driven studio, occasional early mornings, evenings, or off-site hours may be necessary to support installs, site visits, or deadlines.

Daily Job Function:
- Managing high volume of email correspondence and team calendars
- Assisting in the preparation of client presentations
- Assisting in proposal building in Studio Designer
- Creating floor plans and mock-ups for furniture layouts and design elements
- Picking up and delivering materials, samples, and drawings to clients, vendors, and job sites
- Requesting and organizing information from vendors and fabricators
- Assisting with on-site installations and project photoshoots

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the Google platform required
- Experience with Revit and Studio Designer is preferred
- Must have exceptional organizational and client facing communication skills
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to travel is required
- Bachelors Degree in interior design or related field is preferred
