New York interior design firm D’Aquino Monaco recently debuted D’Aquino Monaco Art Selections, an art advisory newsletter that works with industry professionals, fairs and galleries to share bimonthly selections.
“Our aim is to discover and bring to you artists with less recognizable names, who are relevant to the contemporary dialogue and are equally part of prestigious collections,” says Francine Monaco, principal of D’Aquino Monaco.
The design firm, founded by Monaco and Carl D’Aquino more than 20 years ago, was named to Interior Design’s Hall of Fame in 2007 for its progressive works. The introduction of the art resource marks another evolving point, as the firm feeds the industry’s growing demand for art education.
Among the first artists featured are New York–based abstract painters Inger Johanne Grytting and Paul Pagk.
